We have a request from Dr. Byron Lopez to keep praying about the volanic eruption: Here's his note to me:

Hi Tony, Blessings. The ashes have not reappeared since last Friday, thank God, but the volcano's activity continues, more firmly than in previous years. We are praying that this activity disappears, and that we will not be surprised or disgraced. All activities are getting back to normal, except near the volcano, where people are in shelters. In the love of Jesus ..... Byron

No More Ash: Your Prayers are Answered!

The latest we have heard is that the volcanic ash that had been raining on Guayaquil has stopped. Thank you for praying for the city and for the health of our team there.

Last week the Tungurahua volcano powerfully erupted spewing tons of ash and debris in the air.  The winds had carried the ash to the coast and covered the city of Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador and our ministry base there.
