Dr. Freddy Beltran, healing evangelist from Ecuador, is coming to the USA. He and his family will be here in the Orlando area on April 27, staying until May 11. We've been asked to help coordinate Freddy's itinerary while he is here. Freddy and his family will be coming here likely on the same plane Ray Watson and Chuck Blystone will be on as they return from Ecuador. They are going down on the April 21, planning to minister primarily in the main city of Guayaquil.
I spoke tonight with our team coordinator in Ecuador, Fernando Ubilla. He says that our team is now leading 3 different home groups where they are teaching married couples biblical concepts of marriage. The first one started last summer and now they have 3.
Fernando reports that most team members are doing well but he did ask for prayer for Judy Saez. Judy is the wife of Pastor Miguel Saez and they are nearly 80 years old. Many of you know that Pastor Miguel and Judy were in a car accident right after Christmas. They were coming back from Green Camp (where they pastor a church) and they were in a bad accident. Judy broke her arm and separated her shoulder, and is still in a lot of pain.
Everyone knows that Miguel deeply loves his people at Green Camp, and especially the poor children there. They feed over 100 children per week but because of the accident and Judy's slow and painful recovery they have not been able to visit their church for almost 3 months! Please pray for a quick healing for Judy and that the Lord will comfort them while they are missing their church, that the Lord would comfort the people while they miss their pastor, and that the leaders who have stepped up to handle the work of the ministry would be anointed by God to lovingly feed and care for the poor people of that church.
